En diferentes barrios de esta ciudad protestaron por la muerte del camarero Richard Rijo Guerrero, a mano del haitiano Alexis Burrod, de 35 años, cuando laboraban como bartender en el referido hotel.
Burrod residía en la calle Adamaray 39, del sector San Martín, y se dice que mató a Rijo Guerrero, que era su jefe, porque le llamó la atención.
