El principal escollo que tenemos los dominicanos, a la hora de reclamar un buen servicio al cliente y exigir que se respeten nuestros derechos, es que no nos unimos. Me explico, si un usuario desea llevar a los tribunales a una compañía de teléfonos, lo primero que necesita es un abogado. Pagar cinco, seis o diez mil pesos a un abogado para que inicie la demanda y prepararse para seguir pagando a dicho abogado sus servicios por el tiempo que tarde la demanda, puede parecer ridículo si lo que usted está demandando equivale a menos de diez mil pesos. Pero si los dominicanos nos unimos y hacemos una demanda colectiva, de cientos o talvez miles de usuarios, podemos pagar los servicios de representación legal colectivamente y nos saldría más económico. Además la demanda tiene más fuerza si hay más ciudadanos respaldándola.
El servicio de Indotel es también ineficiente. Nuestros reclamos deberían ser atendidos en un plazo no mayor de diez días, así uno puede decidir si decide suspender el servicio de manera definitiva o continuar con el mismo; deben producir efectos inmediatos de suspensión de cargos extras sobre el monto reclamado; prohibir a la compañía proveedora de servicios que interrumpa el servicio del usuario como resultado del atraso en el pago del monto reclamado, imponer sanciones pecuniarias, a beneficio del usuario, a las compañías que tarden más de tres días en solucionar una avería o reincidan en la misma avería; que aquellos usuarios cuyos servicios telefónicos sean prepagados (de minutos previamente establecidos) tengan el derecho a recibir en sus cuentas telefónicas los minutos que no consumieron el mes anterior; que se modifique la ley y el reglamento de Indotel para que se proteja al usuario y no sólo a las compañías; que se eliminen la mitad de esos impuestos tan abusivos y que se justifiquen, en cuanto servicio prestado al usuario, los que permanezcan como parte de la factura mensual.
¿Cuándo será que los dominicanos nos uniremos para reclamar nuestros derechos?
